Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive through Kenya’s beautiful highlands toward Chogoria town.

Meet your trekking crew, including experienced guides and porters, before continuing by 4WD vehicle through fertile farmlands, tropical rainforest, and bamboo zones toward Chogoria Park Gate.

The scenic drive offers incredible views of Mount Kenya’s eastern slopes and surrounding landscapes.

Spend your first night at the Kenya Wildlife Service campsite or at the nearby Meru Mount Kenya Lodge.

After breakfast and porter organization, begin trekking at a relaxed pace through beautiful mountain terrain.

The trail follows scenic rivers and lush vegetation zones, providing excellent acclimatization opportunities.

Visit the spectacular Nithi Waterfalls, approximately 100 feet high, before continuing toward the camp.

Enjoy lunch beside a mountain stream before ascending gently to your campsite at approximately 3,600 meters.

Today’s trek offers some of the most spectacular scenery on Mount Kenya.

Hike through alpine terrain with magnificent views of:

• Lake Ellis
• Gorges Valley
• Vivienne Falls
• Lake Michaelson

The route gradually ascends toward Mintos Hut (4,297m), located near the scenic Hall Tarns.

A short optional walk to “The Temple” viewpoint rewards hikers with breathtaking views over the dramatic cliffs and valleys below.

Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for your summit attempt.

Your summit attempt begins before dawn at approximately 0330 Hours.

Hike through rocky alpine terrain past Simba Tarn and Harris Tarn toward Point Lenana (4,985m).

Arrive at the summit in time to witness an unforgettable African sunrise above the clouds.

On clear mornings, hikers may enjoy views stretching toward:

• Mount Kilimanjaro
• The Kenyan highlands
• The Indian Ocean coastline

After celebrating your summit achievement, descend back to Mintos for breakfast before continuing downhill toward Meru Mount Kenya Lodge (Bandas).

Lunch is served en route at Road Head.
